Have you ever had that moment in life when you thought, "Wow, this is absolutely perfect." It may something as simple as tasting the perfect dessert (if you know me, you won't be surprised I went there) or it may be as profound as the birth of a child. It may be listening to the perfect song. And you wish that moment lasts forever. But it doesn't. It's because we are on a journey for something better, something greater, something that we'll only fully experience when we are with Him in heaven. He has given us these gifts of beauty as gifts, but there is so much more.
So how do we get to know Him, the Creator of Beauty? Through prayer. Do you pray poorly? That's okay - poor prayer is better than no prayer. Not sure how to pray - seek guidance from someone you trust. And know that we are made for greater things.
